Next week the Year Five students will be travelling to Bouldercombe State School to take part in a Leadership Day in preparation for their year ahead as leaders of the school. This engaging school incursion empowers students to explore leadership through character. By learning to step up with courage, step back with humility, and encourage others with empathy, students discover that true leadership is not about titles – it's about action, integrity, and teamwork. Through hands-on activities, reflection, and collaboration, students grow as confident, respectful, and compassionate leaders.

Students will leave Depot Hill State School at 8.50am and will travel by car with Mrs Jacobson and Mr Patterson to Bouldercombe State School where they will join with students from other small schools in our region. There will be about 80 students participating in the day. Our students will return to school by 3.00pm. If your child is currently in Year Five please complete the attached permission form.
