Athletics Carnival
Our Physical Education teacher, Miss McKean has started training our students in readiness for the school Athletics Carnival, to be held on the 10th and 11th June, the days before the Show Holiday. This year, we will be inviting the Port Curtis Road State School (PCRSS) to join with us for our sports day. Mrs Laidlaw and I have already met with staff from PCRSS to ensure a smooth and enjoyable day is had by all. We plan to have a half day at the PCRSS grounds on the 10th June, to hold the ballgames carnival and 800m. The following day, we will hold all other athletic events at the Depot Hill SS grounds. It should be a fun day of competition and comradery.
