Infrastructure Projects
Over the holidays, we were excited to see the completion of some infrastructure projects. The painting of the B Block stairwell has been completed and looks much improved.
The Outdoor Learning Area continues to grow with the inclusion of a sandstone Yarning Circle and a white board. As part of our Explicit Improvement Agenda our teachers are working on building pedagogical practices to deepen student engagement. Providing engaging workspaces is part of this approach and I look forward to seeing our students learning together in this area.
Another exciting project for the school in semester Two is the introduction of chooks to our school. On the holidays Mr Janke completed the chicken coop and we purchased an incubator and two dozen fertilised eggs. The Year P-2 class are very excited to be able to have the incubator in their room and have a Hatching Countdown calendar set up to count down the days until we have our very own chickens!
