Chicken Update
Excitement has been building at Depot Hill State School with the arrival of our newest feathered friends!
A new chicken enclosure, complete with fresh bedding and a warming light, has been set up to provide the perfect environment for our chicks. Earlier this week, our first chick hatched, and since then the number has continued to grow. We are looking forward to welcoming even more chicks over the coming days.
Our Step into Prep students have especially enjoyed meeting the chicks and observing the different colours and personalities of each one. The chicks have quickly become a favourite around the school, providing wonderful hands-on learning opportunities for students of all ages. We look forward to watching them grow over the coming weeks.
