Depot Hill State School is endeavouring to build a unique and innovative school-based curriculum which is underpinned by coherent learning experiences through an alignment of curriculum (ACARA Curriculum to Classroom), teaching and assessment in a framework that prepares and engage students for the 21st Century.

Our student support program is based on understanding individual needs and developing programs that support these needs in an inclusive environment.

Depot Hill State School incorporates the principles of the Positive Behaviour for Learning program (PBL) into our school program. This program is a school-wide system to enhance student success. It equips students to develop strong social and academic achievement in a framework that supports both students and staff. At Depot Hill State School our PBL program involves a focus on explicitly teaching appropriate behaviours that are reinforced through consistent positive practices, language and rewards.
